This program integrates scenario-based skills practice with a structured academic curriculum designed to meet both California State and National Registry (NREMT) recertification requirements.

 

Course Format​

• 100% Online Academic Component – Complete all coursework at your own pace with 24/7 access.

• Each topic includes a lecture video followed by an exam that unlocks after video completion.

• A minimum average score of 75% is required across all exams to qualify for CE credit.

 

Course Options​

• 24-Hour EMT Refresher (24 CE Hours) – Meets California EMT license renewal requirements.

• 40-Hour NREMT Refresher (40 CE Hours) – Meets both California and NREMT recertification requirements.

 

Hands-On Skills Component

• A skills session (in person) is required to fulfill both California State and National Registry psychomotor recertification requirements.

• Students will demonstrate practical EMT skills under instructor supervision at scheduled times.

8. Penetrating Chest Injury

9. Epinephrine and Naloxone Administration

10. Childbirth and Neonatal Resuscitation

 

Other Skills:

1. Use and administration of naloxone or other opioid antagonist

2. Use and administration of epinephrine by auto-injector

3. Use of a glucometer
