This course focuses on a combination hands on skills based scenarios as well as traditional academic curriculum intended to fulfill State and National requirements for becoming a certified EMT. BATA offers comprehensive course work that is designed to fulfill the minimum state requirement for Emergency Medical Technician training. It's our goal at BATA to prepare students for successful testing for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians examination.
Through a combination of 184 hours of training, BATA will prepare the student for a career as an EMT.
Class hours are as following:
09/18/2023 to 11/11/2023
Mondays 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Wednesday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturdays 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Required Textbook
The cost of the EMT textbook is included in the tuition. You have the option to pick up your book in-person or have it shipped to you (shipping cost will apply). Please call 800-701-7333 to set up a time for pick up or click on "Ship my book" to have it shipped to you.
Down Payment Vs Full Payment
Please note, when selecting the $950 down payment, the FULL remaining balance must be paid prior to the first day of the course start date unless you apply for one of the below Pay-Over-Time Solutions
1. Automatic Recurring Payments (Payment Plans, No fee or Interest Rate) –Automatic recurring schedules gives students the flexibility to pay over time without any interest or fees. Students interested in this option will be required to sign an agreement. If interested in creating a payment plan for the remaining, please call us at least 2 weeks prior to the start date of the course or earlier, to set up reoccurring payments. Payment plans consist of either weekly or bi-weekly payments from the time of agreement through and paid in full by mid-course. The first scheduled payment must be paid 5 days prior to the start of the course.
2. Financing – Bay Area Training Academy contracts with a third tuition financing company for financing options up to 6 months. Students will be required to fill out a credit application form for eligibility check. Once approved, there will be a 2% to 5% interest rate depending on credit history. If interested in financing plan for the remaining, please call us at least 2 weeks prior to the start date of the course or earlier, to apply for financing.
