Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is the cornerstone of emergency medicine. CPR is the method on manually compressing the heart and providing external respirations to a patient who has suffered cardiac arrest in order to preserve brain functions in the hope of return of spontaneous circulation. 

​

Students who have never taken a CPR course before must complete an initial course. 

​

Current (non expired) CPR cardholders will be eligible to attend a renewal course. 

​

The BATA is a current American Heart Association training site, BATA instructors use a combination of hands on psychomotor training, clinical education and scenario based testing in order to assure competency in the student and meet all standards of the American Heart Association. All CPR courses are taught in strict adherence to the guidelines set forth by the American Heart Association.
